2025 Plan Commissioner Training Kicks-Off in Campton Hills on 1/15/25
APA-IL led a citizen planner training session on January 15, 2025 for the Village of Campton Hills. Members of the newly formed Planning & Zoning Commission, elected officials, and Village staff attended the session, as well as members of the Plan Commission from the neighboring community of Lily Lake. Discussion was held on commissioner responsibilities during public hearings, using findings of fact and zoning standards when reviewing zoning requests, and potential conflicts of interest for commissioners. The training session was presented by Dan Bolin with Ancel Glink and Tom Farace, AICP, with the Village of Carol Stream.
