Call for 2024 APA-IL Awards Program Nominations!

The APA-IL is now accepting nominations for our 2024 Awards Program! Each year, the Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association recognizes the best in planning across Illinois, celebrating those that exemplify tremendous planning efforts and outstanding achievements in innovation.

Submit your project or person in one of two categories:

Project Awards

• Daniel Burnham Award for a Comprehensive Plan
• Strategic Plan
• Best Practice
• Advancing Diversity and Social Change
• Healthy & Active Community Award
• Historic Exploration Award
• Student Project

Service Awards

• Planning Advocate Award
• Distinguished Service or Contribution Award
• Emerging Planner Award
• Most Valuable Planner (MVP)

Nominations are due by 5:00 pm, July 3, 2024.

All nominations must submit nominations via an online Google Form. You will need a Google Email address. (If you do not have a Google email address, email admin@ilapa.org for special instructions.)
