I currently serve as the Assistant Village Manager for the City of Rolling Meadows, Illinois. I previously worked at the Village of Lake Bluff, Illinois, the City of Mission, Kansas, and interned in Prairie Village, Kansas and Raymore, Missouri. I hold a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri. I have been involved in organizing the APA-IL state conference each year since I arrived in Illinois. I presently serve on the executive boards of IAMMA (iamma.org; Illinois' state association for municipal management assistants) and IRMA (irmarisk.org; a risk pooling & management cooperative of Chicagoland municipalities) following volunteer and committee work with each organization; I also previously served on the Host Committee for the 2016 ICMA Annual Conference in Kansas City, Mo.
