2/20/25 Findings of Fact Webinar - Commissioners Edition

“Findings of fact” is a common term used to refer to a community’s written explanation of a land use or zoning decision. Either the planner or the applicant, or both, will prepare the findings, but it is up to the local Plan Commission or Zoning Board of Appeals to analyze the findings and convey their position to the governing body.
