Speakers

Megan Mack is a Partner with Ancel Glink practicing in the areas of municipal law, zoning and land use, economic development, code compliance and enforcement litigation.  She advises clients on a variety of governmental issues including intergovernmental agreements, development and economic incentive agreements, zoning and land use controls and relief.  Megan has successfully litigated demolition, abandonment and foreclosure cases as well as administrative review actions, forcible entry and detainer and tort cases on behalf of her governmental clients.  Prior to joining Ancel Glink, Megan served for ten years as an Assistant State’s Attorney.  She attended law school at DePaul University.  Prior to law school she worked as a transportation and environmental planner.

Daniel J. Bolin is a partner at Ancel Glink representing public entities and property owners in wide-ranging local government, land use, and election matters. Dan has counseled local governments at Ancel Glink for nearly 20 years, regularly advising governmental clients at public meetings and offering help with current issues ranging from economic development to statements of economic interests. Dan’s creative strategies for the repair and demolition of blighted and abandoned properties helped his client earn a Lake County Municipal League Innovation Award. Dan writes about controversial land uses, and regularly speaks at state and national conferences regarding emerging local government topics. Dan is an award-winning podcaster, often discussing legal issues affecting local governments as a host of Ancel

Glink’s Quorum Forum podcast and GovLove, a podcast about local government. In 2024, the Engaging Local Government Leaders Network (ELGL) recognized Dan as a “Top Influencer in Local Government.”

Gregory W. Jones, AICP is a partner in Ancel Glink's Chicago office.  Greg counsels public and private sector clients on land use, zoning, construction, governance, and complex regulatory matters.  Greg has extensive experience with economic development efforts, including tax increment financing, annexation, redevelopment, and strategic zoning code projects.  Before practicing law, Greg spent a decade as a city planner and zoning administrator with several Chicagoland communities.  Greg currently serves as the co-chair of APA-IL’s legislative committee and frequently writes and speaks on land use and related topics across Illinois.
