Village of Westmont Comprehensive Plan RFP

The Village of Westmont is seeking proposals from Illinois-based professional planning consultants to assist in preparing a new Comprehensive Plan. The current Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2013, and served as an update to the 1998 Plan. The new Comprehensive Plan should guide community planning, economic development and investment, and decision making for the next 15-20 years.

The Comprehensive Plan should provide recommendations for the properties within the corporate boundaries, plus the unincorporated areas within the Village’s planning jurisdiction. Additionally, the Comprehensive Plan will develop a robust and expedited streetscape plan for the Village’s Downtown Central Business District. Sealed submittals for this project must be received before 4:00 P.M. CST January 23, 2026 at the Office of Community Development, Village of Westmont, 31 West Quincy Street, Westmont, Illinois 60559. Responsive proposals must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Village of Westmont Comprehensive Plan”. Five (5) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy must be submitted.

Any applicant that has questions regarding this RFP must submit them to the Village of Westmont at compplan@westmont.il.gov with the subject line “Westmont Comprehensive Plan RFP”. Questions must be submitted no later than December 30, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. An addendum that answers timely-submitted questions will be posted by January 12, 2026 by 4:00 p.m.
